Norma Coleen Davis

Norma Colleen Davis, our Beloved sister, Norma Coleen Davis, 78, passed away Thursday June 6th, 2013 of natural causes. Norma was born May 7, 1935 in Baker, Idaho to Leslie and Bessie Davis. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1954. She lived with her mother at Bridgeview Estates until her mother's death in 1995. Norma continued to live at Bridgeview Estates for the past eighteen years. Her social life was attending church, socializing with her friends at Bridgeview and visiting relatives. Norma selflessly, happily and lovingly helped her father and mother care for a family of eight. She loved to cook and bake wonderful desserts for her family, church and friends. Norma along with her mom lived in Seattle from 1981 to 1995 and then they moved back to Twin Falls. Norma is survived by a brother, Gene Davis, Twin Falls, a sister, Bette Smith, Twin Falls, a sister Linda Charlton of Montana and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Davis and a sister, Barbara Gurski. Norma's Family wants to thank the staff and her many friends at Bridgeview Estates for the super wonderful eighteen years she had while living there. Everyone was so kind and caring over those years. They made her feel Bridgeview was definitely her home. At the time of her passing Norma had been the longest living resident at Bridgeview. When living there with her mother she was the youngest resident. Graveside services will be held Wednesday June 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
