Aubrey Lewis Brashear, 94 of Twin Falls, passed away May 28, 2013 at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho. Aubrey was born in Como, Texas on October 1, 1918. In 1941, he joined the United States Air Force and served in WWII. On July 2, 1942 in Ballenger, TX he married the love of his life, Clara Brashear. To this union were born four daughters, Sherry, Linda, Brenda and Karen. Aubrey worked as a Carpet Layer and Floor Coverer for most of his life. He always loved to work, and he laid acres of carpet in his lifetime. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed gardening, building and fixing things up. He enjoyed fishing and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving Aubrey is his loving wife of over 70 years, Clara Brashear of Twin Falls, daughters, Sherry (Harvey) Kingston of Twin Falls, ID; Linda Pigeau of Roy, Utah; Brenda (Bill) Macfarlane of Blackfoot, ID, and Karen (Robert) Bridge of Hansen, ID; Brothers, Bob Brashear of Robinson, TX; Wayman Brashear of Waco, TX; Sister, Geneva Stevens of PA and seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Edwin and Glen Brashear, and sisters, Polly & Jewel. Visitation for Aubrey will be held at the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Friday, May 31, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral Services for Aubrey will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Deb Sales officiating. Graveside Interment will be held Tuesday, June 4,2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls, ID.
