Pamela (Pam) Pehrson May 21, 1955- May 17, 2013 Twin Falls- Pam gracefully and peacefully passed on May 17, 2013. She was surrounded by her loving companion, many friends and family. Pam was born in Logan, Utah. She attended Utah State for several semesters, then spent time working at Moore Business Forms, she was a Fire Fighter and later finished her work career with Costco. She had many great friends at Costco and was deeply grateful for how well Costco treated her during her illness. Pam's hobbies and interests were as varied as her career choices. She loved skateboarding, skiing, hiking, riding her navy blue scooter around town and snowshoeing. But kayaking was her favorite; there were many days when she would spend time alone, thrilled to enjoy the beauty of the Snake River. Other times she would gather a group of friends and head to the river pulling her custom kayak trailer. A perfect Saturday for Pam would be paddling with her group of friends, drinking a few beers, telling a few jokes, sharing a lunch, and body surfacing under a waterfall before packing up and heading back to the dock. Pam is survived by too many friends to mention; she considered the Howa Family her Twin Falls family and like Costco, they treated her very well. Her younger sister, Julie Dalton and her husband moved to Twin Falls to be closer to Pam in 2005. Squeakers is her much beloved kitty, the cutest black cat with a white chin and white paws. Squeakers was a constant loving companion to Pam. A Celebration of Pam's life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, Pam requested that memorials be made to the Battered Women's Shelter in Twin Falls, Idaho.
