Harold Leeney Say "I Love You" every night, that was Harold's motto in life. Harold Leeney of Twin Falls, formerly of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away in his home on May 15, 2013. He was born on April 14, 1923 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Stanley and Pearl Uhren Leeney. He married Suzanne Brohan in San Francisco, CA in 1950. They had two daughters, Barbara Roach and Carol Hampton. He worked for Leeney Furriers in his youth. Harold served in the US Navy during WWII and worked as a Navy Aircraft Electrician. He continued his career in electronics working in Silicon Valley. Hal was an avid HAM Radio Operator and was known by many as K6YEX. He also enjoyed camping and taking pictures of his family. He retired to Twin Falls in 1986 where he spent his remaining years. Surviving are his wife - Suzanne Leeney , two daughters - Barbara and Carol, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Pearl Leeney, sister - Olive Leeney and granddaughter - Melissa Roach. Hal will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls. Inurnment will follow the memorial service on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. View Cemetery in Pocatello.
