Earl Thomas (Tom) Snow Earl Thomas (Tom) Snow, 69, succumbed to lung disease May 13, 2013. He was born August 4, 1943 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the fourth and last child of Ora Viola C. Burtenshaw and Lindsay Snow. He had two brothers, Richard Lindsay and John Edwin, and one sister, Marsha Jean. Tom attended school at Lincoln and Washington Elementary in Twin Falls and Vera C. O'Leary Junior High School. He worked at the Rogerson Restaurant for Ted Smith and Ben Mottern, J.C Penney, and as head custodian at Lincoln School. After working for the school district for 28 years, Tom retired in June 2008. On October 23, 1971 Tom married the jewel of his life, Carma Owens, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Tom was a long-life member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the 2nd, 10th, 8th, and 4th wards. He served in the scouting program, counselor in a bishopric, home teacher, and various other callings. Tom and his wife served in the Bolivia Santa Cruz mission from February 1978 through July 1979. He is survived by his wife, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several great, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: both brothers: his sister: sister-in-law, Helen Snow: brother-in-law, Andy Owens: and nephew, Jacob Flinn. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls from 5 - 7 P.M. Friends may also call on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9 - 9:45 AM. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 667 Harrison St., Twin Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 667 Harrison St. in Twin Falls, burial will follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
