Francis Marion McDonald, fondly known as Mack, 86, passed away March 9, 2013 at his home in Twin Falls. He was born August 6, 1926 in Protection, Kansas the son of Herbert and Bernice McDonald. He moved to Twin Falls with his family at the age of 14 and graduated from Twin Falls High School. Being dedicated to his country and very patriotic, Mack joined the US Navy in 1944, serving in WWII and was discharged 1946. On October 18, 1945 he married the love of his life, Wilma Sheppeard in Twin Falls. Mack worked for Amalgamated Sugar as assistant store keeper and transitioned into the transportation industry, working for Pacific International Express for many years. He excelled in his job and held many positions in sales and management, eventually retiring as manager of Silver Wheel Freight Lines of Ontario, Oregon in 1983. Mack and Wilma enjoyed camping and fishing together. He was member of the Hansen Assembly of God Church. Mack enjoyed people and never met a stranger; he had a big laugh that encapsulated all who were near. He took great pride in his yard and loved growing vegetables in his garden. He loved his cat Mitzy. Surviving are his wife Wilma of Twin Falls, sister - Betty Ann Skeen of Twin Falls, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers - H .R. and Paul McDonald. Mack touched many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
