Jack Burton Boardman

Jack Burton Boardman passed away February 18, 2013 at his home in Hagerman. He was born September 16, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Maurice and Ruth Wolf Boardman. On August 16, 1953 he married the love of his life, Barbara Geweke. To this union were born six wonderful children. Together Jack and Barbara enjoyed Jitter Bug dancing, spending time in the outdoors bicycling, hiking working out and playing tennis. He also took great pride in working beside Barbara in their carpeting and sporting goods store. Surviving is his children - Steven (Barbara) Boardman of Morgan Hill, CA, Robert (Martha) Boardman of Hays, KS, Jo Ann (Milton) Weber of Mesa, AZ, Suzanne (Dale) Hammett of Wilsonville, OR, Jamie (Sam) Bostic of Ft. Lupton, CO and Jacqueline Boardman of Chandler, AZ, sisters - Mary Hare of Omaha, NB, Betty Snyder of South Weymouth, MA, along with 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Friday, February 22, 2012 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home Wendell-Gooding Chapel at 2 pm.
