Lea Watson Williams Lea left this world on Feb. 12 despite her defiance and fight with Lupus. Mother has lived in the Magic Valley for all of her 76 years beginning in Hazelton, Hailey, and for most of 40 years, Twin Falls. Her home included daughter Lisa and sweet Chloe, the three of them kept a busy and happy home that was comfortable even on Mother' s hard days. We are all grateful they had these times together, for the unity given to our family. Lea was born on March 15,1936 to Clinton and Naomi [Bennett] Watson of Hazelton on the way to Twin Falls Hospital. The family included sisters Cleoma, Margie, and brother Clinton. She graduated from Valley High School in 1954 and went to work in Sun Valley before starting a family with Forrest Williams, they were married in 1955. Four children came, Stacy, Randall, Lisa, and Reese. Mother and us kids returned to Hazelton, where the family stayed until mothers job meant a need to live in Twin Falls [1974]. Mom worked for Health and Welfare for the State of Idaho for 26 yrs. and retired when her health declined. During these years Mom's family helped her with the kids and needs of a working family. Our mother lived a stable life with a clear sense of right and wrong her parents instilled and reinforced to all the kids by being close at hand. Her kids will always be Watsons. Mother especially enjoyed reading and collecting elephant figurines, consequently the paper hit the door every morning and the elephants require their own wall. Mom loved the outdoors and especially loved the camp trips with the family. Mother always believed in the good side of people and knew that perspective meant everything, her kindness could be enormous. Mom was frail but she was sturdy, and up for almost anything thing fun. Her family was truly all she cared about, and made her point of that to her kids. Mom will always be remembered for her loving spirit. Lea is survived by her children, Stacy Callen and Kent, Randall & Robyn Williams of Boise; Lisa Williams of Twin falls and Reese & Sandra Williams of the Netherlands; her sister Margie Howard of Twin Falls, brother Clinton & Becky Watson of Hazelton . Mom has eight grandchildren; Cliff, Saylor, Clint, Jaime, Rio, Alex, Jennifer, and Chloe and three Great grandkids; Claira, Sienna, and Greyson. She is also survived by her special Aunt Leota, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and her little dog Bella. Lea was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Naomi Watson, and sister Cleoma Newbry. A special thank you to Dr. W. Patrick Knibbe of Boise for his loving care of Mom. The memorial for Lea will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 16th at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls. Pastor Phil Price is officiating.
