Mary Jean Fletcher "Jeannie" February 16, 1940 - January 25, 2013 Mary Jean "Jeannie" Fletcher, 72 of Twin Falls died Thursday, January, 25, 2013 at her home in with her husband by her side. She was born on February 16, 1940 to Selvestri and Fortunata Bacolad in Paia, Maui, Hawaii. She grew up in Hawaii and on January 28, 1961, she married the love of her life, Robert L. "Bob" Fletcher in Honolulu, Hawaii. April 1, 1976, they moved to Idaho to be near Robert's family. Jeannie loved Idaho, she enjoyed ceramics, camping with the Good Sam's Club, snowmobiling, Sunday Bingo at the Moose Lodge, and was a member of the Ladies Red Hat Society. She was also a major football fan who never missed a Boise State game, and she could cheer with the best of them. Jeannie made many lasting friendships including her calico cat, Runner. Before her retirement, Jeannie worked picking beans at the Kimberly Green Seeds. Known to many by her nickname, "Pineapple", her beautiful smile and laughter will be missed by many. Jeannie was an incredible wife, aunt, sister and sister-in-law. Her parents preceded her in death. Surviving Jeannie is her loving husband of 52 years, Robert L. Fletcher, her brothers, Mark and Joseph of Hawaii; and her sister, Patricia, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Jeannie will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral Services for Jeannie will be held Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home with Visitation for 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Twin Falls Senior Citizens Center 530 Shoshone St. W.
