Tommy Eugene "Tom" Hoshaw, 69 of Jerome passed away Saturday January 5th at Bridgeview Estates after a long battle with multiple illnesses. Tom was born February 17, 1943 in Twin Falls to Leland and Opal Hoshaw. In 1945 the Family moved to Nebraska where they resided until 1953 when they returned to his Idaho home. Tom spent his entire life in the Magic Valley. In 1958 he married Elizabeth Huse, they were later divorced. In 1963 he married Janice Davis, they later divorced. In 1970, he married the love of his life and best friend, Barbara Okelberry. They spent the majority of their life living in Jerome. They rarely spent a moment apart, especially toward the end of his illness. Tom worked his entire life in either Agriculture or Agriculture Manufacturing. He retired from Superior Chain in Twin Falls in 2006 after 32 years of service. He loved to make things with his hands. He would often carve wood, build bird houses, and make decorative items for friends and Family, but Tom's greatest passion was his Family, especially the Grandkids. It was often difficult to tell who instigated the mischief when he and the Grandkids were together. Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara, nine daughters; Linda Carroll (Ace Emery) of Twin Falls, Tina Kepner of Meridian, Crystal (Lance) Ebberts of Kennewick, Washington, Violet (Mark) Mullikin of Orofino, Paula Wallin of Boise, Linda (Mike) Anthoney of Twin Falls, Jacque (Kevin) Herfel of Brazil, Indiana, Billie (Brad) Davis of Wendell, Angela (Kyle) Smith of Middleton, 38 Grandchildren and 44 Great-Grandchildren. Tom is also survived by three brothers; Bill Meeker of Garden City, Bob Hoshaw of Eugene, Oregon and Lee Mills of Nebraska. Tom was proceeded in death by his Parents, his Mother and Father In Law George and Edith Duncan, brothers Leland (Joe) Hoshaw, Jim Hoshaw, Sister Verla Niccolls, two Sons; Tommy Hoshaw in 1987 and Gene Hoshaw in 2012 and his Great Granddaughter Kaitlynn Anthoney in 2003. Tom also leaves behind his two special little four legged buddies, Maggie and Kitty who brought him a great deal of joy. A celebration of Tom's life will be held Saturday, January 12th at 1 pm at Parke's Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls
