Audrey Lea ( Lipe ) Martin 1917 - 2012 Audrey Lea ( Lipe ) Martin, age 95 passed away, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Creek Side Care Center in Jerome, Idaho. Mom was born April 18, 1917 in Vale, Oregan.,to Ebb Dunn and Grace Gundersen Dunn. Mom was raised in Dietrich, Idaho and later married Roy Lipe and they lived in Twin Falls where they raised their 2 children, Jack and Lois. Audrey worked many years for Twin Falls Realty & Insurance for John Bishop and George Haney and later with Hamilton Insurance for Lloyd Hamilton and Grant Starley, retiring in 1980 to care for her husband until his passing. In 1998, she married Larry Martin and they were both very happy together bowling and enjoying company until his passing in 2004. She is survived by her son, Jack (Janice Magnell) Lipe of Centenniel, Colorado and her daughter Lois (Lipe) Peterson of Shoshone, Idaho. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, Sondra (Don) Banka of Aurora, Colorado. Rick (Donna) Lipe and Lucinda Stuckenschnelder all of Littleton, Co. Janie (Jade) Erickson of Bellevue and Maria (Duane) Raigains, Lisa (Brian) Krear, Shane (Tonya) Peterson. 10 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister in-law Sharon (Ted)Scheihing of Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her first husband Roy Lipe in 1980 and her beloved late in life husband Larry Martin. She was also preceded in death by sister Alice (Broyles) Baer of Half Moon Bay, California formerly of Shoshone,Idaho, another sister and one brother. Visitation for Audrey will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls. Audrey's family would like to extend a special Thank you to Dianne Holley, Becky,Dorothy, Melinda, Lucy, Patti, Gayla and all of the other special and wonderful caregivers at Creekside Care Center. Mom was a tiny, petite professional little lady, always caring about her appearance and loved her clothes & flowers. We loved her dearly and will miss her.
