James Calvin Carpenter

James Calvin Carpenter of Twin Falls, ID, was born May 21st, 1936 and passed away on November 29th, 2012 at his home with his loving family surrounding him after a long battle with tubular aggregate myopathy. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, children Libby Carpenter of Saipan, James Randy Carpenter and Terri Ann Carpenter of Twin Falls, Wayne (Shelley) Herr of Cheyenne, Wendy (Kenneth) Lundgren of Southport NC, and Gary (Andrea) Bradley of Frisco TX. He also leaves behind grandchildren Roman, Skyler and Sage Benevente; Alisha Carpenter, Cody (Annabel) Carpenter, Casey Carpenter; and great-grandchildren Korbynn and Garwin Kelley, Caden, Caleb and Jasmin Carpenter, James, Joshua and Caitlin Herr of Cheyenne, Kara Lundgren of Islamorada, FL, Amber (Douglas) Wheeler of Ft. Worth, Brandon (Kayla) Lundgren of Puyallup WA, Amanda Lundgren of NC, Jessica Bradley of Austin TX, Melissa (Steven) Rodriguez, and Tracy Cain of McKinney TX ;Mali, Alanna Roman, Noah Benevente, Blair Cain, Dylan Rodriguez and Garrett Lundgren Wheeler. He is also survived by a sister, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews in the Greenwood, Mississippi area. The family wishes to thank the staff at Idaho Home Health and Hospice for their devoted care, especially the registered nurses, and CNA's Heidi, Grace, and Robert. The family also wishes to express appreciation to Pastor Paul Springer for his care and compassion. Arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. A private family memorial will be held at a latter date.
