Barbara Carol Boardman

Barbara Carol Boardman passed away November 21, 2012 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. She was born May 30, 1934 in South Weymouth, MA, the daughter of William and Caroline Blanchard Gewecke. On August 16, 1953 she married the love of her life, Jack Boardman. To this union were born six wonderful children. Together Barbara a Jack enjoyed Jitter Bug dancing, spending time in the outdoors bicycling, hiking working out and playing tennis. She also took great pride in working beside Jack in their carpeting and sporting goods store. Surviving Barbara is her husband - Jack Boardman of Hagerman, children - Steven (Barbara) Boardman of Morgan Hill, CA, Robert (Martha) Boardman of Hays, KS, Jo Ann (Milton) Weber of Mesa, AZ, Suzanne (Dale) Hammett of Wilsonville, OR, Jamie (Sam) Bostic of Ft. Lupton, CO and Jacqueline Boardman of Chandler, AZ, sisters - Mary Hare of Omaha, NB, Betty Snyder of South Weymouth, MA, along with 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Bill Gewecke. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home Wendell-Gooding Chapel at 2 pm.
