Paul H Kennedy, 95, went on to be with his Lord while sitting in his favorite chair, in front of his favorite window of Applegate Living Estates. A public viewing memoriam will be held at the Buhl First Christian Church Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 5-7:00 p.m. Services will also be at the same church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 18, 2012. Paul was born January 29, 1917 in Spokane, WA to Suzanna (Meyers) Kennedy and John Robert Kennedy. He was the youngest born, but was proud he was the longest living (in years) of four brothers and two sisters. After graduating high school, his lifetime occupation was farming. Paul married Anna Marian DuJardin on April 20, 1943. They enjoyed life together for 45 years before Anna's death in July of 1988. They are survived by two children, Charlene Maxton (Barry) Howsden and Elvera (William) Wiegand. Paul is also survived by four grandchildren, Chad (Pam) Maxton, Jerrilene (Ivan) Smith, Charla (David) Hiatt, and Fred Wiegand. He was blessed with four great-grandchildren Leah Maxton, Jonathon Maxton, Charilyn Tucker, and Maxton Smith. The entire family would like to thank Applegate Living Estates for their outstanding love and care of our Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. It was a joy to him to be able to have a garden for a couple years, the trips to the local Senior Center for lunch, and the extended and local care they provided in the last two weeks of his life. Paul had requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Christian Church campground in Fairfield, ID.
