Patricia Emily McBoyle died of complications of a respiratory infection on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Twin Falls Care Center. She was born June 13, 1940, to John Arthur and Margaret Amy Patterson McBoyle at Roswell, NM. The family lived in Roswell until moving to Grangeville, ID, in 1951. She graduated from Grangeville High School in 1958. Patricia then attended the University of Idaho at Moscow. After returning home from college, she was employed as a legal secretary, then worked as a bank teller for Idaho Bank and Trust for thirteen years. Patricia lived in Kooskia, ID, until 1978. She returned to Grangeville, then moved to Lewiston in 1981. As a resident of Lewiston, Patricia worked at Lewiston Grain Growers and Nez Perce County District Court.She moved to Twin Falls in 2008 to live with her daughter, a teacher for the Hansen School District. Two marriages, to Marvin L. Renne and LeRoy M. Wimer, ended in divorce. Patricia was a member of Job's Daughters during her teen years. She also rode horses at that time. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her dogs, family and friends. Patricia is survived by two daughters, Monique D. Renne of Twin Falls and Stephanie M. Carpenter and her husband, Todd, of Clarkston; a son, Bradley J. Renne of Portland, OR; a brother, John A. "Mac" McBoyle and his wife Sue, of Grangeville; two grandsons; and two nephews. An additional granddaughter will be born next month. The family appreciates the staff of Twin Falls Care Center for the quality care that Patricia received at the end of her life. Donations in her memory (in lieu of flowers) may be made to the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals); she was deeply concerned with animal welfare her entire life. Arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date at Prairie View Cemetery at Grangeville.
