Wesley Eugene Murphy, 1957 ~2012 Wesley Eugene Murphy, 55 of Jerome, Idaho went home to be with his Heavenly Father on October 10, 2012 after his battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family; listening to the song," Jesus I Lift Your Name On High" Wes was born July 9, 1957 in Jerome, Idaho. He grew up on his parent's farm in Jerome graduating from Jerome High School Class of 1977. Wes was employed at Longview Fiber for 30 years. He attended the River Christian Fellowship for many years and loved to talk about Jesus. On June 7, 2000, in Twin Falls Idaho, Wes married the love of his life, Linda Patton Murphy. Together they lived, laughed and loved, spending time with their children and their grandchildren. He enjoyed four wheeling with his three granddaughters camping with his family and friends and riding his Harley with his wife. He loved to go to Arizona to visit his mother-in-law Marie and his brother-in-law Dan. Rocky his beloved cat was always by his side. Wes had a huge heart and was always thinking of others first. He brought his family great joy. He was the love of his wife, Linda's life and she adored him. As a caring father he always put his kids first. He was an awesome grandpa, a wonderful son, brother and friend. We will forever miss his sweet smile and sense of humor. His beautiful blue eyes will shine forever in Heaven; his warmth and memory will remain in our hearts until we meet again. We find comfort in knowing that he loved Jesus. Never to be forgotten, Wes was that precious person you could never forget. We will cherish our memories and are grateful for the time we had with him. Surviving Wes is his loving wife, Linda Murphy of Jerome, children Jamie (Clint) McKinnon, Sky Wilcox, Bo (Dzenana) Crisp, all of Twin Falls and Tony Cooper of Boise, Idaho; his parents Frank and Bobbie Fish of Jerome, sisters, Lois (Dave) Landers of Arizona, Beulah (Bob) O'Conner and Kathy (Robert) Blunt both of Twin Falls, and Chris Dumas of Eden, Idaho; brothers Raymond (Suzanne) Fish of Jerome and Dave Murphy. Also surviving are three beautiful granddaughters, Ariana McKinnon, Heaven Wilcox and Taylor McKinnon as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous other family members. Wes was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Murphy, his grandparents, Fish and grandparents Johnsons and Murphys and his special Grandmother Bertha Johnson. Memorial services for Wesley will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the River Christian Fellowship at 4002 North 3300 East Twin Falls, ID, with Pastor Mike Kestler officiating.
