Keefer, passed away at her home on September 17, 2012. She was born on August 27, 1923 to Dale Udy and Maude Erickson Udy. Marian grew up with her brother and three sisters on the family ranch in Albion, Idaho. On September 3, 1943 Marian joined the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged on October 27, 1944. She married Don R. Keefer, on July 7, 1954. They were happily married until he preceded her in death on March 17, 1994. Marian had many hobbies. She loved gardening and spent many hours growing lovely flowers and home-grown vegetables. Surviving Marian is her sister Marlene (Keith) Smith, her three children, Patrick you. Keefer, Michael R. (Jann) Keefer and Laura Morehead, six grandchildren many great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Graveside services for the family will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Twin Falls Animal Shelter 420 Victory Ave./ P.O. Box 1163 Twin Falls, ID 83303.
