Benjamin Franklin Hottel 1943 - 2012 Benjamin Franklin Hotel, 69, of Kimberly, Idaho passed away August 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 3, 1943 in Pocatello, ID, the son of Benjamin and Eva Hottel. He married Mary (Hamock) Davis in January, 1962. They had 3 children and divorced in October, 1968. He then married Lou Ridley in 1968 and had 2 boys. They were later divorced. Ben wore many hats throughout his life, which included being a Harley Mechanic, working at B and E, Coke Cola Company, and Roger Brothers, but his favorite job was working at Blue Mountain Asphalt. Ben Loved Nascar and rarely missed a race. He also enjoyed Budweiser mugs and had a large collection of them. He loved being a mechanic, fishing, hunting, camping, and being outdoors. He always loved to take his family to lsland Park at least once a year, sometimes even more. He made people live their lives and made them Iaugh. Benjamin is survived by his sons Ben (Judy), Gary (Aiko), Pete (Crystal), Tyke Debbie), James (Leslie), John, Thomas (Lisa), and one loving daughter Kristina (Rick), his siblings Les (Maxine), Bill, John, Dwaine (Jolene), Mae, Ann (Tom), Chris, and Peggy (Dan), with many nieces and nephews and a fistful of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Eva, one brother, Stephen, a daughter, Dawn, one grandson Snooker, and many friends.
