Benjamin Andru McCarron ended his own life just before midnight the night of August 13, 2012. His last two years were extremely difficult with several severe injuries that put him out of work and had him in constant pain. He pursued every solution he could think of toward recovery and in the end was only getting worse and was facing the very real possibility of never seeing any significant recovery. He made sure that his wife and kids would be taken care of, and concluded that the best thing he could do for them was to check out of this world for good. Ben left behind a multitude of devastated friends and family who love him deeply and disagree strongly with his choice. Ben was incredibly intelligent, inventive, optimistic, ambitious and compassionate. He was always hatching creative schemes to make small fortunes. He loved life, and even after his injuries was always out trying to make the most of his time. He was always willing to go well out of his way to help out a friend in need. He loved spending time with his wife and son, making money playing poker, shooting, creating explosives, snowboarding, Call of Duty, studying science and marveling at our amazing universe, playing disc golf, incinerating his tongue with anything sour or spicy, brewing beer, and barbequing mammal flesh. Ben left behind his wife Andrea, his two-year-old son Jace, a baby on the way, his three brothers Weston (Rachel), Tim (Jenna) and Chris, his dad Sean (Debbie), mom Debra, grandfather Carl, and loads of extended family and close friends. A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm Sunday August 19 and a service at 6 pm Monday August 20, both at Parke's Funeral Home at 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Cash gifts will be accepted toward a trust fund for Ben's kids. We will always miss you Ben and your kind heart, sense of adventure, and sarcastic sense of humor. Have fun being worm food.
