Carol Lynn Doramus, 65, of Twin Falls, passed away on August 10, 2012 near Elko, Nevada as the result of an automobile accident. She was born on July 3, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Dean and Beverly Vernon Sheckler. Throughout her life she was dedicated to her family. She was a resourceful individual who always provided for her family even in tough financial times. Carol was a master in the kitchen who loved to cook and prepare loving meals for her family. She was a helpful resource for anything to do with the kitchen and cooking. Her family always relied on her for advice. Carol loved nature and all of its creatures. She often rescued and nursed back to health many of its creatures. Like her mother she loved craft work and art, painting and raising plants. One of her greatest pleasures was entertaining her grandchildren. She always made time for Family. Carol was a giving person who always provided and cared for others, often extending herself beyond way beyond what a person should. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Carol is survived by her sons, Gregory (Alex) Doramus of Concord, CA, and Randy (Cindi) Doramus of Ocala, FL; daughter, Kym (Jim) Vaughn of Cape Coral, FL. Also surviving is her sister, Kathy (Lynn) McMaster of Kimberly, ID, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and one on the way. Services for Carol will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho with Pastor Steelman Borden officiating.
