Geri Brooks

On December 4th 1938 God created someone truly special, Geri Brooks. On July 7th 2012 he called her home. Geri was born in New York on December 4, 1938 to Louis and Etta Barbella. In 1956 she moved to California, where she would meet and marry Gerald F. Brooks and give birth to two children. To know Geri was to love her, always there to help anyone in need without hesitation. Geri had a big family who loved her dearly, from coworkers to longtime friends, everyone was considered family. She loved baseball, the Dodgers were her team, and in fact the Dodgers love her so much they followed her to California in 1958. That's how special she was. Geri Brooks devoted mother, and friend will truly be missed, but will carry on in our hearts forever. Geri is survived by her loving family, (son) Donald A. Brooks, (daughter) Andrea L. Lebeck,(God Daughter) Loel Sweet, (grand-daughter) Ryann A. Brooks, (grand-son) Joshua A. Brooks, (daughter-in-law) Elyssa R. Brooks, and (son-in-law) Jerry M. Lebeck. All who have been lucky to be touched by Geri's presents, there will be a Grand Celebration of Geri's Life
