Jack Sebring Boyd, 77, of Twin Falls, passed away, June 13, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 13, 1935 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Carl and Inez Sebring Boyd. Jack graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1954. Jack and Beverly were high school sweethearts who married after a one year courtship on March 1, 1957 at the Twin Falls Methodist Church. In 1959 a son Jeffrey Scott was born, a daughter Stephanie Jean followed three years later, then Steven Craig blessed the family in 1964, son Gregory Layne arrived in 1965 and the final son Daniel Wayne completed the family in 1967. The Boyd's were a close knit family and Jack and Beverly were always proud of their children and their accomplishments. In 1958, Jack began his career in propane. He climbed the corporate ladder and eventually became the Corporate Vice President for what is now Suburban Propane. He retired after 35 faithful years of service and his sons followed in his footsteps, all of them holding management positions with Suburban Propane. Jack loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, four wheeling and spending time with his children and bowling with his friends. He took great pride in Jeeps he restored. Once their children graduated from school, Jack and Beverly moved to Vancouver, Washington. They shared a love not only for each other but of golf, pinochle and bridge. In 1993, Jack returned to Twin Falls and continued to enjoy his retirement. Beverly was the love of Jack's life; he took great care of Beverly to make sure her dignity was always intact, always guiding and caring for her until her passing. Surviving are his sons - Jeffrey (Jill) Boyd of Battle Ground, WA, Steven (Paula) Boyd of Placerville, CA, Gregory (Carole) Boyd of Battle Ground, WA and Daniel (Kristin) Boyd of Chittenango, New York, Ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers - Richard "Dick" Boyd and Roger Boyd both of Twin Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his parents, and his daughter Stephanie. Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls.
