She passed away courageously and peacefully at her son's home in Jerome, ID. She was born May 4, 1936 in Richfield, ID; the 10th of 11 children born to parents, James and Emma Kodesh. Eileen spent her young adult life as a loving mother and homemaker. Later in life, she and her husband, Wayne Steele became Greyhound Bus Agents, where she spent the next 32 years of her life, serving in that business. While it would seem by her unassuming nature, that she led an uneventful life, the opposite was quite true. She had a deep seeded passion for Opera and the Fine Arts. Later in life, traveling became a burden for her, however she made sure that by her generous gifts and donations made, everyone could enjoy the same opportunity to experience these joys. While Eileen came from hard and challenging beginnings, she rose above them, always remaining the same meek, kind and generous soul that she always was. Eileen gave back all and made everything she acquired available to help others in need. She would do without before those she knew and loved would. We will never know anyone as kind, caring and generous as her. This World will surely miss this little woman with such a big heart. Eileen passed away as eloquently and dignified as she lived. Preceding Eileen in death was her husband, Wayne Steele, her parents, five sisters, two brothers, 1 grandson and one great granddaughter. Surviving Eileen are her three sons, Barry Heck, Charles Heck and David Steele, her daughter, Teri Rodriquez, two brothers, James Kodesh and Bobby Kodesh; one sister, Janie Brown, 6 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls. Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301.
