Milton Thane Twitchell went home to the Lord on May 8, 2012 in Twin Falls after an extended illness. He was born December 29, 1946 in Wendell, Idaho to Cecil and Frances (Minnie) Carlow Twitchell. He was only 6 years old when he lost his father, so at a young age he started working for farmers to help his mother. Milton attended schools in Jerome, and graduated from Jerome High School later he attended the College of Southern Idaho for one year. In 1972 Milton made his choice to serve the Lord and remained true to that choice. On June 2, 1973 he married Charlene Foster in Jerome, Idaho. Later that year they moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska where he was a welder for the Lockwood Corp. Then in 1976 they moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where he worked for Service master, Big Horn Coal and Spring Creek Coal mines. He loved fishing and camping in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming with his family. Due to his ill health Milton took an early retirement in 2001, returning to the Magic Valley in 2002 where he worked four years as a dealer trade driver for the Lithia Chevrolet and Dodge dealerships in Twin Falls. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ansel and stepfather David Boyd. Survivors include his wife Charlene, sons Jayson (Sanya) Twitchell and Kevin Twitchell, grandchildren Jaydee and Kaylee Twitchell of Sheridan, Wyoming, Christa and Chayse Twitchell, Christina and Ashley Dowdy, and Hunter Rusnell all of Jerome. He is also survived by his brother LeRoy (Ruby) Twitchell, sisters Violet, Alisha (Marke) and Beverly along with a host of other relatives and friends.
