Trent Trappen

July 12, 1956 — May 1, 2012

Trent Trappen 1956 - 2012 After a courageous bout with cancer, Trent Trappen, 55, of Twin Falls, went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in his home surrounded by his family. Trent was born July 12, 1956 in Twin Falls, ID to Edward and Carole Trappen. He grew up in Twin Falls, and attended Twin Falls High School. Trent loved Fantasy Football and would watch multiple TV's at a time, so as to not miss a favorite sporting event. He was a champion pool player, a lover of life, living it his way-to the fullest. Trent was on the Board of Directors of the Magic Valley Dilettantes. He enjoyed his first acting experience in the Dilettantes production, Titanic. He became a great promoter for this local production company selling tickets and hanging posters. Trent was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors, always leaving the windows and doors open in the house bringing the outside in. He loved to garden and work in his yard, planting flowers and watching them bloom. Trent worked for Rob Green Auto Group. Their support and love of Trent carried him through his illness. His family sends a special thank you to Chris Cain and Hospice Visions for their amazing care and kindness. Trent was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Hank Trappen and Grandma, Helen Bell. Surviving Trent is his son, Daniel Trappen and daughter, Taylor Trappen and four grandchildren, Morgan, Lane, D.J., and Wyatt. Trent's children and grandchildren were the loves of his life. He was so proud of them. Also surviving are his parents, Ed and Carole Trappen, siblings, Scott (Leanne), Sheri, and Tara (Jeff), and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Trent's life will be held at 2pm, Saturday May 5th, at Twin Falls Reformed Church, 1631 Grandview Drive North, Twin Falls, ID. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho. Memorial contributions may be made at any Wells Fargo branch to the Trent Trappen Memorial Fund in lieu of flowers. Please visit his Remembrance Page at www.magicvallevfuneralhome.com.
