Doris Jean Hall

September 1, 1942 — February 17, 2012

Doris Jean Hall, 69 Twin Falls, passed away February 17, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 1, 1942 in Pomona, CA the daughter of Lawrence and LaPrell Carter Lillibridge. In 1958, she married Damon Rutherford, together they had four children - Pamela, Janice, Nancy, and Karen. Her husband later passed away in 1970 following a tragic accident. She then married J. Bruce Hall in January of 1971 and gained two stepchildren - Clifford and Deon. Doris was a hard worker who always provided for her family, working at Lamb Weston as a potato processor, Pennywise Drug Store, Bakers Bean House and several other jobs though out her life. She enjoyed bowling, camping, riding motorcycles, crocheting , and water aerobics. The highlight of her life was loving and caring for her grandchildren. They will always remember those special times with grandma. Surviving are her children - Pam Welch of Twin Falls, Janice Putzier of Boise, Nancy Rutherford of Burley, Karen Tate of Martinez, CA, Stepson - Clifford Hall of Twin Falls, and step daughter - Deon Volk of Caldwell, Sister - Carol Ann Brown of Salt Lake city, Utah, sister in law - Esther Lillibridge of Texas, along with 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands - Damon Rutherford and J. Bruce Hall, one grandchild - Jordan Tate, and brother - Larry Lillibridge. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, ID. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
