Elaine Sue Brannen

Elaine Sue Brannen 1949 -2012 Elaine Sue Brannen, 62, of Buhl passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at Woodland Assisted Living Center in Buhl, Idaho. Elaine was born on April 12, 1949 in Boise, Idaho, where she was adopted by her parents, Ken and Maxine(Morgan) Patterson. She attended school in Buhl and Castleford. When she was growing up, she was always out after school helping her dad on the farm or out riding her horse. After she graduated from school in the summer of 1969, she went to San Francisco, CA where she met Orville Lee Maddan Jr. They were married and had 2 sons, Kenneth T. Maddan, born April 26, 1971 and Orville Lee Maddan III born July 15, 1972. Elaine later moved back to Idaho where she met Danial Vernon Brannen & they were married in Elko, Nevada in March of 1979. Elaine and Danial had a daughter Ranae Maxine Rhodes born December 10, 1979 . Elaine and Danial divorced in 1985, so Elaine decided to take some classes to become a bookkeeper and a tax preparer, she then worked at the local Circle K Store for 2 years. In 2005, Elaine married again to her late husband Johnny S. Turner. She loved to knit, crochet, quilt and fish; and she especially loved having her grandchildren around her. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and 2 of her husbands. She is survived by her daughter Ranae (Roy) Rhodes of Buhl, a son Kenneth (Amber) Maddan of Nampa, ID and Orville Lee Maddan III of Ft. Walton Beach Florida; a sister Wilma (Larry) Deboard of Portland, Oregon and numerous grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID. A Memorial Education trust has been set up for Rebecca and Rusty Rhodes, those wishing to contribute may do so at any Pioneer Federal Bank.
