Helen V. Bourn

Helen V. Bourn, 90, of Hansen, passed away December 23, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. She was born on December 8, 1921, in Hansen, Idaho, the daughter of Jess and Mattie Calico Turner. On June 10, 1939 she married the love of her life, Connie Bourn in Twin Falls. To this union was born one son - Gary. Helen enjoyed shopping and getting out of the house to go to town. She and her husband shared a love for camping and doing arts and crafts together. She always took great pride in her home, and enjoyed cooking and raising her garden. Family was important to Helen, she always loved preparing meals for her family, they will always remember her famous large breakfast's. Surviving are her son - Gary Bourn of Hansen, two sisters - Wanda Brashier and Barbara Brashier both of Hansen, three grandchildren - Kandi Mohr, Randy Bourn, Brian Bourn , five great grandchildren - Melissa Mohr, Nicholas Mohr, Emily Smith, Sierra Bourn, Zoe Bourn and three great grandchildren - Caitlyn Keller, Lexi O'Dell, and Zane O'Dell. She was preceded in death by her husband Connie, her parents and two brothers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly, Rd, Twin Falls from 5 - 7 P.M. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2011 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M., with burial following at Sunset Memorial Park.
