Elaine Edwards April 7, 1922 ~ November 20, 2011 Twin Falls, Elaine Edwards, 89, of Twin Falls passed away from age related conditions. She was born in Filer, Idaho and lived most of her life in Idaho. Her most recent public activity was playing in the B.J. Band. She played tambourine and they appeared in senior centers and made appearances in public events plus just having a lot of fun. During her previous life she worked as a grocery checker and knew most of the people in Twin Falls. She went into wrapping meat in the stores. While women in that time period were wanting more equality, she went from a wrapper to a Union Journeyman meat cutter. Elaine was ultimately offered her own store to open up in the Buttery food chain meat department. Elaine was an accomplished seamstress and taught people to sew and made many garments for people. She was also a great cook, and always took the time to set a nice table. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and dancing and many other activities. Elaine is survived by her daughter Carrol Cliett, and Andy Cliett, and daughter Kathie Moore. Grand children Anthony Wrobel, Anne Wrobel and J.R. and Marilyn Wrobel, and Kelly Roan. Great Grand Children, Andy Wrobel, Brian Wroble, Tony Wrobel Jr and Brooke Wrobel. And many other friends that were like family. --And family who were best friends.
