Bernard C. Bradshaw

Bernard "Bernie" C. Bradshaw 1929 - 2011 Bernard "Bernie" C. Bradshaw, 82, of Hansen and formerly of Gibbonsville, Idaho passed away peacefully Monday October 17, 2011 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. He was born May 3, 1929 in Maza, North Dakota, to William and Christine Holien Bradshaw. He was the fourth of nine children. Bernard served his country in the United States Navy. After returning home he married Mildred Stewart on September 2, 1955. He farmed in Milner, ID for fifty years. When he retired, they moved to Gibbonsville. After a while he became bored and went to work for the State Highway District. Mildred passed away April 23, 2003. Bernie met his brother-in-law's sister, Marion "Susie" Standlee and on May 7, 2004 they were married. He is survived by his wife, Susie of Hansen; a son, Robert L. Bradshaw of Gibbonsville; stepson, Dell Stewart of Lacy, WA; his sister's, Alice Lind of Boise and Eleanor Hewlett of Burley; two brothers, Harold Bradshaw of Parker, CO and Richard Bradshaw of Phoenix, AZ. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother's William A. Bradshaw and Vernon "Butch" Bradshaw; and sister's Betty Mahler and Joyce Olson. We will all miss him! A Celebration of Bernie's Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 29th at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls with Pastor Dale Metzger officiating.
