Fredic Hugo Kroll Fredric Kroll died Thursday, October 13, at his home from complications of lung disease. He was 73. Fred was born August 9, 1938 in Kellogg, Idaho, the oldest child of Egon Kroll and Charlotte Ahlquist. The family moved to Twin Falls in time for him to attend Twin Falls High School, where he graduated in 1956. He attended the University of Washington for a year, then transferred to the University of Idaho, where he graduated with a degree in business in 1961. After graduation he was drafted into the Army and spent two years at Fort Devon, Massachusetts. After Fred returned home, he joined the family business, Twin Falls Coca-Cola Bottling Company. After his father's retirement, he became manager and ran it for many years. In 1977 he married Peggy Bobbitt Fields, and from that union came two daughters. Fred served on the C.S.I. Foundation Board, was a deacon for the First Presbyterian Church, and was a member of the Coca-Cola Memorabillia Collectors Club for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his daughter Jennifer (Matt) Sonnichsen, his sister Barbara (Frank) Lyons, one graddaughter Charlotte, and several nieces and nephews. A viewing and family time will be held Thursday, October 27, from 6pm - 8pm at the Parke's Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, Idaho. The service will be held Friday, October 28, at 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church, at 209 5th Ave. North, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a donation to the Kroll Family Scholarship in care of C.S.I. Foundation, P.O. Box 1238, Twin Falls, ID 83303 or a charity of their choosing.
