Obituary for Ralph Sonny Sawyers Ralph Sonny Sawyers, 63, of West Magic, passed away Saturday, October 15th. Sonny was born July 7, 1948 to Ralph and Mercedes (Berry) Sawyers in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Sonny graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1966 and later joined the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Mary Foreman, May 13, 1972 in Reno, Nevada. To that union, a daughter, Dusty was born. Sonny and Mary lived in Twin Falls, Buhl, California and returned to West Magic to enjoy retirement. Sonny loved Idaho, especially spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Dusty (Bradford) Page; grandchildren, Dominic, Aiyana, Sunni, and Kailiana; sister, Marlane Lewis-Throneburg; aunt, Darlene Brown; and several cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 21,2011 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
