Dale E. Drown

July 31, 1956 — September 27, 2011

Dale E. Drown 1956 - 2011 My sweet brother Dale E. Drown, age 55, died of a sudden heart attack at his home in Twin Falls on September 27, 2011. He was a quiet man with a gentle, caring heart and was deeply loved. Dale was born on July 31, 1956 in Twin Falls to Tim and Elizabeth Drown and graduated from Kimberly High school in 1975. He loved his work, serving as a night security guard at the original Tupperware Plant in Jerome, continuing on at that plant site throughout all the years including his current employer, Spears Manufacturing. Dale loved his work so much; he only missed two days in the past 15 years and planned to work well into his 70's. Special thanks go out to Spears Mfg- for providing a great work experience for Dale and heartfelt gratitude for the help and concern of Vickie Henson at the Spear's office. Dale was always ready to help others; he worked most holidays and extra shifts to allow other employees to enjoy time with their families. Dale is deeply loved and missed by his surviving family members Marcia (Drown) Lanting, life time friend Greg Lanting, and Annie (cocker spaniel), all of Twin Falls. Dale and Marcia enjoyed a close bond, made even closer in recent years as they shared a common interest in learning tennis together. Dale was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed history, politics, music, the environment and DOGS!!! A loyal friend and brother, Dale was a good listener and a great support in life. Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, older brother Lyle Drown and four beloved cocker spaniels Lance, Max, Dixie and Baxter. Out of respect for his private nature, no public services are planned. A private ceremony will be held to scatter Dale's ashes. To honor Dale, his estate is currently working with the City of Twin Falls to support the construction of a dog park. Donations can be made to the Twin Falls Community Foundation, P.O. Box 5632 Twin Falls, Idaho 83303-5632. Please designate your donation "Dog Park". This donation will be tax deductible as a 503C Charity. All arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home & Crematory of Twin Falls, ID. Those wishing to share condolences may do so at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
