Adeline Mattey

Adeline Mattey 1913- 2011 Adeline Mattey died Sept. 18, 2011 of natural causes. She was born June l, 1913 in Sykesville, PA to Nick and Anna Iarossi, (Ross). She grew up in Buffalo, NY and married Frank Mattey. They had two children, Dennis and Jacqueline. Adeline worked as a seamstress at M. Wilde with her husband until she retired. Addy loved spending time with her family especially around the holidays, when she would cook spectacular Italian feasts with her mother and daughter. She loved gardening, reading books and cooking. Her great spirit allowed her to live until the age of 98. Her smile could light up any room and she was loved by so many. We will all miss you grandma, we love you so much. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and daughter. She is survived by grandsons, Dennis, Jim and David Seckel; two granddaughters, Ana Mattey Proctor (Jay) and great grandson Luke of Florida & Kristina Mattey Harmon (Rick), and great grand children Eric and Carson Harmon of Colorado Springs, CO and great grand daughter Jennifer Bucklew ( Baire) and great great grand children Alexis and Braiden Bucklew of Florida.
