Shelia Louise Veatch

Shelia Louise "Harr" Veatch 1943 - 2011 Shelia Louise "Harr" Veatch, age 68 of Clayton, California, formerly of Twin Falls, and Filer, Idaho died Sunday, September 4, 2011 of injuries sustained in a plane crash in Canyon County, Idaho. Shelia was born February 9, 1943 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Sam and Elizabeth Harr. She grew up and attended schools in Twin Falls, Idaho graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1961. After graduation, she went to work for Sears where she worked until she married the love of her life, James Veatch on June 24, 1963 in Elko, NV. To this union were born two sons, James Jeffrey Veatch and Scott Samuel Veatch. Jim worked for AT&T. They traveled extensively for his job and for pleasure. Sheila worked as a bookkeeper at different locations during their lives together. Their favorite travel destination was Hawaii with the company of their sons. Shelia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sammy. Surviving Shelia are her two sons, Jeffrey of Hercules, CA and Scott of Vallejo, CA, two sisters, Joan (Glen) Sandau of Twin Falls, ID, Donna (Carl) Kelly of Buhl, ID and one brother, Don (Judy) Harr of Twin Falls, ID. Also surviving is her uncle, Gideon Harr, and her aunt, Tillie Shane, both of Twin Falls, ID and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Shelia will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID. Inurment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID.
