Weston Keith Webb Weston K. Webb, 78, passed away September 7, 2011 in Twin Falls Idaho. Born September 12, 1932 to George and Carrie Strong Webb in Twin Falls, Weston was the youngest of six children. He spent much of his youth on the family dry farm in Roy, Idaho and winters in Twin Falls. He graduated Twin Falls High School in 1950 and shortly thereafter joined the United States Air Force where he served four years during the Korean Conflict as a Crew Chief for an F-86-D squadron based in Chicago. Weston's love for aviation began during his high school years and continued right up to his death. He restored and flew 2 classic Ercoupe airplanes similar to the first one he had in his youth. He married Shirley Walker on August 12, 1958 and spent the early years of the marriage working the family dry farm in Roy and again wintering in Twin Falls. Upon the birth of their son Kevin, they moved permanently to Twin Falls where Weston worked as a mechanic at the Workman Ford dealership and later operated his own Chevron service station. In 1970 Weston moved his family to American Falls where they had just purchased the Allis Chalmers farm machinery dealership from J.P. Melhaff, renaming it Webb Tractor. Weston operated the business until 1982 when he sold it and expanded the custom van conversion business he and his son Kevin had started, opening locations in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls. He retired in 1988 but continued working part time in the summers at the Willow Bay Recreation area until his permanent relocation to Twin Falls in the early 90's. Here he continued flying his airplanes, driving an employee bus for Cactus Petes, and charter buses for North Side Bus, and Sun Valley Stages. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Webb of Twin Falls, a son Kevin Webb & spouse, Dr. Barbara Webb of Tucson, Arizona, stepson Brock Wells & spouse Tyra Wells of Mesa, Washington, and stepdaughter Kathy Wells of Fairbanks, Alaska, along with 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
