Jack Birch Craner, 79, of Twin Falls, formerly of Buhl, passed away on July 29, 2011. He was born on June 22, 1932 in Eden, Idaho, the son of Hyrum and Maude Birch Craner. Jack was the owner and operator of his own large scale earth moving company, The Motor Patrol Service. Jack joined the Air Force when he was 17. He met and married Delores Welch in 1952 in Twin Falls, moving to Duluth, Minnesota to finish his service in the military. They moved back to Twin Falls in 1954 where they made their home. Together they adopted two girls. Delores passed away in 1965 after a short illness. Jack later married A. Zelma Boyd (Buhl). Together they enjoyed traveling to Canada and Mexico and attending art shows. He loved his work and was a member of the Twin Falls Masonic Lodge #45, as well as the El Kora Shrine. He very much enjoyed going to Shriner Conventions and riding in parades as a Shriner. Jack also enjoyed growing and sharing tomatoes. Jack never met a stranger and never had anything bad to say about anyone. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his daughters - Denise Rogers of Florence, Oregon, and Vanessa McNeil of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, a sister - Ramona Rush of Twin Falls, six grand children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A celebration of Jack's life will be held on August 23, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls.
