NORMA LEE PRESTIDGE

Norma Lee Prestidge 1930 - 2011 Norma Lee Prestidge, 80, of Twin Falls, passed away July 23, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born the 6th child of a family of 7 children5 boys, 2 girls in Kimberly, Idaho on August 21, 1930, the daughter of Herman and Beatrice Isom. The family lived in Arkansas and California and settled in Twin Falls, Idaho Norma married Walter Prestidge on November 12, 1947. They lived on a farm in Aberdeen, ID until 1962 when the family moved to Twin Falls, ID where they have resided ever since. They had two sons, Larry and Jerry. Norma worked five years as a lab technician at American Potato Company in Blackfoot. After moving to Twin falls, she was employed at Fidelity Bank for five years then moved to twin Falls Bank and Trust for 20 years. She started as a proof supervisor and ended as the Vice President of Operations. She retired in April of 1989. Norma was a member of the 20th Century Club, P.E.O., various bridge clubs, pinochle dinner club, member of the Methodist Church, always kept active in the community, and enjoyed being with people and organizing activities. She was preceeded in death by her parents (Herman and Beatrice), four brothers (Billie, Rex, Junior, and Robert), and one sister (Virginia Sucher). She is survived by - sons Jerry (Jill Rohde) and Larry (Jamie); three granddaughters Tiffiny Peterson (Karl), Robin Anderson, and Marne Keller; four grandsons Scott Prestidge and Kyle Prestidge (Nikki), James Dreben, Ryan Dreben; six great grandchildren Cordelia Peterson, Hunter Anderson, Sage Keller, Kegan Prestidge, Braden Dreben, and Jaidyn Dreben; one brother Kenneth Isom (Wanda); sister-in-law Jane Isom; brother-in-law Frank Eslinger , live-long friend Marlaine Merritt, and several nieces and nephews (many whom Walter and Norma helped by giving them a home with them and helped in any way they could). The family requests donations to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, ID 83301, burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park , arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
