Sally Diane Tipton 1958 - 2011 Sally Diane Tipton, 53, of Richfield, Idaho began her walk with Jesus Thursday, June 30, 2011. She passed away athome with her husband & daughter by her side after a long & courageous battle with breast cancer. Sally was bom April 19, 1958 to Helen & Hamilton Morrison in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Byron High School and one of her first jobs was working with the race horses at Harness Racing. She then took to the open road and became a truck driver, seeing 48 states from behind the windshield of a big rig. She loved spending time in the mountains, hunting and fishing. She had a love of critters but horses were most special to her heart. She was always a dreamer and loved life. She loved to laugh... and she was very artistic, giving many of her crafts away as gifts to loved ones. Sally married Sol Tipton, November 10, 1996...they moved around the area...living in Buhl, Castleford, Filer, and Richfield. Sol & Sally adopted Sally's niece Chelsie and raised her as their own. Surviving Sally are her husband, Sol Tipton; her daughter, Chelsie Tipton; 2 step-children: William (Jacquie) Tipton, Kara (Alvaro) Mendoza; 5 sisters: Kathy (Dennis) Graham, Howell, MI; Nancy (Lee) Foster, Dallas City,IL; Holly (Jim) Russell, Carthage,lL; Gail (Roy) Burmeister, Lake View, MI; Dorothy Morrison, Carthage, MO; 2 brothers: Hamilton (Ruby) Morrison, Brookwood, AL;Dana (Karen) Morrison, Wesley Chapel, FL as well as 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James Herbert, a step- daughter Penny, and her father-in-law Boyd Tipton. Funeral services for Sally will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church, 1005 Poplar Street, Buhl, Idaho.
