Carmen Benkula Craig, 70, of Twin Falls, passed away June 17, 2011 at the St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. She was born on May 7, 1941 in Twin Falls, the daughter of Ben and Minnie Pisano Benkula. Carmen grew up in the Twin Falls area, attending schools in Murtaugh and Twin Falls. Graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1958, she then attended Nursing School at ISU. Carmen recently worked for Dr. Scott Rudeen of Physicians Immediate Care Center, prior to that she worked at the Gift Shop at the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center, she also worked for Ping Manufacturing in Phoenix, Arizona prior to returning to Twin Falls. She enjoyed Golf, Gardening, Cooking, but the highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a friend to all and will be missed by many. Surviving are her children, Brett Neville and Barry Craig both of Parker, Colorado, Kris Rambur of Reno Nevada, Trudy Mays of Meridian, brother Karl Benkula and sister Vicky House of Twin Falls, along with 11 grandchildren. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls.
