Obituary for Thelma Mae Williams Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother, Thelma Mae Williams, 96, of Twin Falls, passed away Wednesday, June 15th at River Ridge Care Center in Twin Falls. Thelma was born May 9th, 1915 in Stotesbury, Missouri to John Luther and Russie Wade Rector. At the age of 14, Thelma married C.G. Ragsdale in Arkansas. They had three children, Betty Irene, Charles Howard, and Barbara Sue. They moved to Arizona, then later to Buhl, ID and has been in Idaho ever since. She later married Herschel Harger in 1959. In 1965 she married Samuel Lyle Williams. Thelma belonged to the Assembly of God Church and was involved in many of their activities. She especially enjoyed the Keenager group. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society. She was an excellent seamstress and made lots of clothes for herself and her family, including shirts for the men and many dresses for the granddaughters. She enjoyed making craft projects and she made dolls and stuffed animals for craft shows. Thelma always dressed up and looked her best even for a short trip to the store. Traveling and camping were some of her favorite activities. She loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, a son, a daughter, and her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Sue Chitwood of Twin Falls; Step Daughters, Bonnie (Ron) Parsons of Idaho Falls, Peggy Brown of Phoenix, Arizona and Karen (Monte) Howell of Pocatello; her Daughter-in-law, Inez Ragsdale of Boise; her son-in-law, Burton Baughman of Buhl and also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20th at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 until 11 am. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff of Stoney Creek Living Center and to Hospice Visions for their loving support. Memorial donations may be made to the First Assembly of God Church Building Fund, 143 Locust Street North, Twin Falls, Idaho, 83301.
