RICHARD RICK ALLEN LEVIN

Richard "Rick" Allen Levin 1952 - 2011 Richard "Rick" Allen Levin, age 59 of Twin Falls, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. Rick was born on April 17, 1952 in Fargo, ND, the son of Bob & Mavis Levin. He grew up in Fargo,ND, finishing his high school days in Lake Park, MN and graduated from Casselton, ND. His college years included working on the Alaska Pipeline,and then graduating from NDSU in Fargo, ND. After that, an opportunity arose that brought Rick to Twin Falls, ID. He loved his new home in the West. He was a life-long member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, a very successful cowboy action shooter, and an accomplished card shark. As a registered nurse in the emergency department his medical career took him through many changes and advances in the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center System. It culminated in his being one of the first new patients served by the new SLMV Hospital. Surviving Rick is his mother, Mavis Levin of Fargo, ND, brother, Mike Levin of Lake Park, MN, and his life-long partner, Joyce Chaffey of Twin Falls, ID. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, and multitudes of friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, 4 uncles and his father, Bob Levin. Memorial Services for Rick will be held at a later date. Cremation and Private Inurnment are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home & Crematory of Twin Falls, Idaho.
