Obituary for James Russell Crowser Twin Falls - James Russell Crowser passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Jim was born in Clarkston, Washington on January 21, 1932 to James W. Crowser and Marie Fredrickson Crowser. He graduated from Clarkston High School in 1949. From High School he went into the Navy for 4 years. From the navy he went to work for Stinker Service Stations and managed stations in Boise, Pocatello, Las Vegas, and Twin Falls. On March 19, 1971 he married Sharon Martin. After working for the Stinker Stations in Twin Falls he had worked as a bartender for the Royal Lounge mainly until he retired. He might hesitate on remembering your name, but seldom did he fail to remember what you liked to drink. Jim enjoyed sports and was very good at remembering names of players, scores, statistics, etc. He liked to read. He collected books regarding history and also collected stamps. Some will probably remember Jim for his quick sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his sister Dorothy (Walter) Haeck of Bothell, Washington, brother-in-law Tom (Katharine) Martin, Boise, Idaho, and nine nephews & one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 6th 2011 at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
