Delpha Bourn, 87, formerly of Murtaugh, Idaho passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at the Blaine Manor Care facility in Hailey. She was born August 3rd, 1924 to Victor and Thalia Masters in Roseworth, Idaho where her family farmed. She married James T. Bourn on Feb 22nd , 1947 in Hansen and moved to Murtaugh where the couple settled into farm life on the Les Peterson Ranch as well as a small farm of their own until Jim's death in 1976. Delpha was a talented seam stress and had a deep love of music. She was an accomplished gardener and spent many hours caring for the stray, sick or injured animals on the farm. A trait that followed her until her final days at Blaine Manor where she was always available to care for the many pets that needed a loving touch. Delpha was an active member of the L.D.S. Church in Murtaugh staying involved with the Relief Society and Silver and Gold Ladies group. She was also a Cub Scout leader and was very active in the local 4H club and school activities with her children . She is survived by sons; Michael (Marie) Bourn, Murtaugh; Charles (Kim) Bourn, Rupert; daughters; Sheryl Brodoski, Boise; Cindy (Harry) Mack, Hailey. She has two surviving sisters; June (Parke) Bunn, Burley and Kleta (Robert) Breeding of Twin Falls. She is survived by an extended family of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson, Jamie Lynn. Delpha's family would like to thank the staff at Blaine Manor for their extraordinary care and love for the past 5 yrs. Contributions may be made in Delpha's name to Blaine Manor or the Croy Canyon Ranch Foundation. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2nd, viewing at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m. at Parke's Funeral Home in Twin Falls, Idaho.
