Ronald (Ron) W. Osterhoudt went to rejoice with our Savior Jesus on March 9, 2011. He had a great love for Our Lord and Savior, and is now singing praises with the angels. He was the 5th son of Everett and Francis Osterhoudt, born on May 14, 1936 in Stockville, Nebraska. Ron grew up and attended schools in Stockville, Nebraska, then the family came to Idaho to settle in the Buhl area. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. Ron held several different jobs during his life, first with Green Giant, then he drove truck and ultimately retired from the Twin Falls Canal Company. He was preceded in death by his Mom, Dad and brothers, Howard and Willard. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his children, Ronda (Mike Wyatt), DarWayne (Terrie Osterhoudt), and Tralina (Enrique Euresti). Ron's surviving brothers and sisters are: Barbara Besser (Texas), Leora Woods (Nebraska), Royal Osterhoudt (Missouri) Betty Eldridge (Idaho), Franklin Osterhoudt (Idaho), Vernon Osterhoudt (Missouri), Leanna Sullivan (Neveda), Miles Osterhoudt (Oregon) and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, with ten grand children and eleven great grand children. We are going to have a Gathering for Dad, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 2-4 at First Christian Church, Buhl, ID.
