JAY E. HUDDLESTON

Jay E. Huddleston Dec. 11, 1920 to March 8, 2011 Jay Huddleston of Filer, Idaho, peacefully went to join his wife Yvonne, March 8, 2011. He was 90. Jay was born in Bliss, Idaho. When he was 2 years old, his family moved to Filer, Idaho. In Filer, he met and married Yvonne Burgess on August 24, 194l. He owned and operated his saw mill for 17 years at Curry Crossing. He designed and built his sawmill and equipment. He was well known for the two engine logging truck that he made out of two Chrysler cars. He moved his family in 1971 to Helena, Mt. then to Great Falls, Mt where he owned and operated Huddleston Auto Bailing. Jay was a member of the Moose lodge #532. He and Yvonne spent their winters in Arizona and Califomia, there they enjoyed the warm weather and meeting new and old friends. Jay lived in Filer for seven years before moving to Curry Retirement EstatesHe rode his three wheel bike around town every day. Jay and Yvonne had 7 children, Galena (Jack) Hampson, Valeda(Glen) Chadwick, Celia (Mark) Hanna all of Califomia, Harley(Linda) Huddleston, of Great Falls, Mt. Garth (Patty) Huddleston of Boise, Chris(Susan) Huddleston of Twin Falls, ID and Brent (DaNaie) Huddleston of Filer. Jay was preceded in death by his sweet wife Yvonne, his mother, Ethel (Sligar)Huddleston, his father, Henry J. Huddleston, Gordon, Darius, Eugene, Corniel Huddleston , Lola Burgoyne and Pat Rippee, one grandchild and two great, great grandchildren. Jay is survived by all 7 of his children, his brothers George and Bud Huddleston, and his sister Thelma Schwartz, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. The Huddleston family would like to thank Jay's caregivers for all the love and kindness they gave to him, Susan Sharp of Filer, ID, and Barbra and the staff at Curry Retirement Estates, Filer, ID. Jay's funeral will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Interment will be held following services at the Twin Falls Cemetery. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
