Betty Lou Yule passed away on February 23, 2011 at the Oak Creek facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. Betty was born on July 22, 1929 in Maple Plain, Minnesota. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from high school in 1947 and married Wallace D. Yule on August 8, 1947. They had three children and in 1962 they moved from the Minneapolis area to Idaho. They lived first on Indian Creek Ranch and then moved to Salmon. Betty went to work at Idaho First National Bank (now US Bank) in Salmon and worked there for 30 years. Betty was a member of the Salmon United Methodist Church for almost 50 years. She loved to sew and was an accomplished seamstress. She won awards for her sewing at the Lemhi County Fair. After retirement, Betty and Wally traveled across the United States, visiting both Hawaii and Alaska, and traveled to Europe where they visited Norway and other nearby countries. They left Salmon in August, 2010 to live in Twin Falls where they would be closer to their two daughters. Betty is survived by her husband, Wallace D. Yule, and daughters, Diane Schorzman of Twin Falls and Donna Yule of Boise; five grandchildren: Jessica Robinson (Buhl, ID); Joshua Schorzman (Buhl, Idaho); Reggie Schorzman (Boise, ID); Derek Schorzman (Cary, NC); and Julius Schorzman (San Francisco, CA). Betty also has seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Yule, her brother, sisters and parents. Betty was a quiet, sweet and loving woman. She will be dearly missed. An inurnment service in Salmon will be announced at a later date.
