RONALD JAMES FOLSOM

Ronald James Folsom 1942 - 2011 Ron Folsom, age 68, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away on February 16, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. Ron was born July 29, 1942 in Boise, Idaho to Frank LeRoy and Lillian Thompson Boss Folsom. Ron attended Magic Valley Academy, Gem State Academy and Twin Falls Sr. High School. After High School, Ron served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Verna Shobe Casey and they adopted their son Michael. Ron and Verna divorced but remained as companions through the years. Ron had several jobs throughout his life, starting in Seattle where he worked for Boeing, Bethleham Steel, Seattle City Water Department, Ashland Water Department and in Twin Falls, he worked for the Twin Falls Water Department. In his spare time, Ron loved to go fishing and play poker in Jackpot. Ron is survived by his son Michael W. Folsom of Twin Falls, Idaho, a sister Carolyn Anderson of Filer, Idaho and a brother Jack Folsom of Boise, Idaho. Ron is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Boss Folsom Thompson and his father, Frank Leroy Folsom. Funeral Services for Ron will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.
