Alice Viola Lee Alice Viola Lee passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the age of 95. She was born on May 29, 1915 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Ludwig and Marie Sandau Heuther. Alice was raised on a farm north-west of Twin Falls, and graduated from Union School. She married in 1943, Marion McCrum, and they had a family together. When she was widowed, she remarried to Tom Mix, and they also had children. Alice was a homemaker all her life, and especially enjoyed cooking. She also loved flowers in the yard. She had many friends, and several of them called her "Mom". She had an optimistic and determined personality, which carried her through challenging times. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. Later in life she married Mr. Stearner and Mr. Lee. She was preceeded in death by her husbands, her parents, and her brother, Elmer Huether. She is survived by her brothers: Lewis (Donna) Huether of Kimberly, Idaho, and Robert Lee (Mary) Huether of Arroyo Grande, California; sisters: Sadie Lorene Partin of Hagerman, Idaho, and Patricia Rettinghouse of Kennewick, Washington;a sister-in-law: Dorothy Huether of Twin Falls; her children: Sharon,Dorothy,Roxie Irene, Wilma, Thomas, Arthur James and Rose; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, February 22nd at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, Idaho with Mike D. Parke officiating.
