Daniel Gonzalez, age 18, passed away on February 14, 2011 in Jackpot, Nevada. Daniel was born on January 22, 1993, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Jose and Lucila Gonzalez. Daniel was raised in Jackpot, Nevada and was a senior at Jackpot Combined Schools at the time of his death. He, also, worked part time at Cactus Petes Resort Casino as a buser in many of their restaurants. Daniel's many friends and family knew him as a kind and caring young man who always had a smile on his face. No matter what the situation, he always found the positive side of things. Daniel was always playing the big brother watching out for his sisters and cousins. He enjoyed spending time with his many "bros" having dinner, watching movies, going to Twin Falls, or just hanging out. Daniel loved sports and participated in both basketball and football throughout high school, but his passion was for football. He loved kicking the ball and playing NCAA 11 on his PS3. His favorite teams were the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed golf in the summer and coaching the elementary soccer team. He was a role model to many young boys in Jackpot. Daniel took pride in his personal well being. He enjoyed lifting weights, was an avid runner, and liked walking his dogs (Buddy, Bruno, and Max). Daniel will always hold a special place in all our hearts. Words cannot express the love we have for you and how much you will be missed by all. Daniel is survived by his mother and father of Jackpot, Nevada. His brothers Meno (Nohemi) Gonzalez of Las Vegas, Ernesto (Maria) Gonzalez of Jackpot, and sisters Maria and Dalia Gonzalez of Jackpot. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends and the community of Jackpot. Visitations will be held on Friday, February 18th and Sunday February 20th from 5-7 p.m. at Parke'sMagic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday February 21st at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Twin Falls, Idaho. To all those who knew Daniel "Que Dijo"?
